More than a Band, A Creative Platform

Name Origin
“Rokku” (ロック) means rock music in Japanese.
“Gem” comes from the colorful gem biscuits we grew up with.

Together, Rokku Gem is a homegrown kawaii band from Singapore — inspired by

nostalgic snacks, powered by music, and created to spread joy across generations.

Kaya
Drummer

Drawn from kaya toast, she’s warm, dependable, and keeps the rhythm steady. Kaya’s beats are the heartbeat

of the group.

Lead Singer & Guitarist

Inspired by gem biscuits, he’s energetic, playful, and always ready to shine. His voice carries the band’s spirit and optimism.
